Hosting that I
personally recommend
"Below are few hosting companies that I personally recommend. I insist
that you research their web hosting services first and compare with
other host before you decide to sign up. Ask yourself. What the few
main requirements that you are looking for in a host and decide carefully by
comparing the features, price and most importantly, hosting support" -
HostPulse.com Founder, Terence L
|
ServerDispatch.com - Price starts at US$159 per month. Generous amount
of hard disk space, control panel features, bandwidth, memory size. The
company offers good server management system. Please research before
purchasing.
|
WebsiteSource.com - One of the good
VPS plans I
have tried and tested.
|
ExaBytes.com - One of the many hosting
companies in Asia that is worth
researching. One of my hosting plans had its server changed frequently which
I thought there has been interruptions, but service is still available while
under maintenance.
|
IpowerWeb.com - Recently, one of the
host that we have
pleasant dealing with. Hosting is affordable, but features may be
limited.
|
|
SingleHop Dedicated
Servers - In the year of 2008, I highly rate this company as one of the
very best dedicated hosting companies around. Technical support staff has
been friendly and it is easy to reach the management if there are any
unsolved problems.

E-
Short for electronic. Almost as tired as CYBER-, the e- prefix is now used extensively to describe new, digital forms of old practices: e-mail, e-commerce, e-tailing, e-zine.
eBook
An eBook is an electronic version of a traditional print book that can be read by using a personal computer or by using an eBook reader.
E-Business
Another term for E-Commerce.
E-Commerce
Broadly, the buying and selling of goods and services on the Internet. With the possible exception of pornography, no other area of the Internet has attracted more attention than retail e-commerce.
E-Commerce / Ecommerce Hosting
E-commerce hosting is a business in which a company provides other companies with whatever they need to sell their products and services on the World Wide Web - including a Web server to serve a company's pages, possibly the Web site design (including catalogues pages), and the special capabilities needed to accept, process, and confirm sales orders
EDI / Electronic Data Interchange
A set of standards for exchanging orders and other business transactions by electronic mail.
EFF / Electronic Frontier Foundation
A non-profit organization that campaigns for online civil liberties. Founded in 1990 by John Perry Barlow and Mitch Kapor, the EFF is a loud voice against censorship and an influential supporter of free speech and privacy.
e-form / Electronic form
An e-form is a computer program version of a paper form.
Email
An electronic message transmitted over the Internet and send from one person to another (although you can also sent e-mail to a large number of email addresses).
Email Aliases
The alternative name(s) for an email account. The email will be redirected to the original email address.
E-mail Forwarding / Redirects
By default, all e-email addressed to your domain will be forwarded to your real e-mail address. For convenience, you can specify addresses to be forwarded to different addresses on the Internet. For example, e-mail addressed to sales@hostpulse.com, help@hostpulse.com could be forwarded to an account like info@hostpulse.com.
Emulation
The imitation of all or part of a device, terminal, or computer by another, so that the imitating device accepts the same data, performs the same functions and appears to the other network devices as the imitated device.

Encryption
The conversion of a message or data file into a form that cannot be understood by unauthorized readers. Encryption is the technology that makes E-Commerce possible because it underlies the security systems used to protect electronic financial transactions.
End-to-End Management
The concept of End-to-End means that "something" is considered as a whole, even though it may be constructed or provided using multiple constituents distributed over several domains. For instance, an end-to-end world-wide telecommunications service is offered as a single item to its customers or the end-to-end telecommunications management of an environment results from the management of each constituent domain.
e-procurement
e-procurement is the business-to-business purchase and sale of supplies and services over the Internet. Typically, e-procurement Web sites allow qualified and registered users to look for buyers or sellers of goods and services.

This is an application, stored either on a Web server or with a Web browser, that conveniently stores and manages a consumer's billing, shipping, and payment information to streamline interations with Web merchants. It is also called a virtual wallet. Typically, information in the wallet is encrypted and is persistent from session to session.
Extranet
A network built on standard Internet technology, typically used by an organization to share information with customers, suppliers and other business partners. An extranet is generally an extension of a company's Intranet, modified to allow access by specified external users.
